The School Aged Child Care (SACC) provides quality before and after school services as well as all day Summer Day Camp in the Rock Ridge School District. SACC strives to provide a true enrichment program, providing active and play-based learning experiences to support the success of all students. Children may select from a variety of recreational and enrichment opportunities that will support their physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. Check individual programs for locations, times and tuition.

Camp and Child Care Programs Cancellation and Refund Policies

Programs include exempt child care programs Before Care, After Care, Day Camps, and Field Trips.

The Rock Ridge School District along with Community Education School Age Child Care Programs does not impose contracts on our participants, and participants are free to cancel programs at any time. Written notice is required to cancel a program. Participants must submit cancellation request via email prior to their next scheduled draft date.

Participant initiated cancellations

Day Camps 

• If a participant wishes to cancel a weekly day camp enrollment and receive a system credit, they must submit in writing via email no later than Wednesday by 12:00pm 5 days prior to the start of the camp session week. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. For cancellations after the deadline, deposits and registration fees will not result in a system credit except for unforeseen circumstances and subject to the approval of the supervisor.

Before/After Child Care

  • If a participant wishes to cancel enrollment, they must submit a request in writing via email no later than Thursday by 12:00pm 4 days prior to the start of the camp session week Any deposits or registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable outside of child care program types. For cancellations after the deadline, deposits and registration fees will not result in a system credit except for unforeseen circumstances and subject to the approval of the supervisor.

Rock Ridge School Age Child Care Program (SACC) initiated cancellations 

• All schedules, activities, class fees and staff may be changed or cancelled by the SACC. If the SACC cancels a fee-based program for any reason, a credit toward another session/service will be issued automatically. Credits will be applied to any past due or future scheduled payments. 
• When the SACC closes a facility or program due to events outside of the SACC's control (i.e. weather, environmental hazard, civil emergency, etc.) the SACC will issue a credit for each scheduled day.
